FAQ
The app isn't scrolling when I speak
Make sure the app is allowed to hear you. On iPhone and iPad, open Settings > VoiceScroll and turn on both Microphone and Speech Recognition. On Android, open Settings > Apps > Voice Scroll > Permissions and allow the microphone.
Which languages are supported?
VoiceScroll recognizes 34 languages on iPhone and iPad, and 26 on Android, from Korean and Japanese to Arabic and Hebrew. A few languages are on iPhone and iPad only for now, and the Android list has been catching up release by release.
What is Voice Scroll Pro?
The free version supports scripts up to 300 characters. Voice Scroll Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited script length — no subscriptions.
Does the app work offline?
Yes, once the language pack has been downloaded. On iPhone and iPad recognition is forced on-device, so your audio never goes to a server. On Android, VoiceScroll never selects a server-based recognizer, and if your device has no offline recognizer for your language, the app tells you that language can't be used there instead of switching to one.
